The 7th Season of Market Tours 2018 debuts today .

There are some really nice finds at that market. What was the boombox on the right side of the Sanyo (Pic #6)? I love the woofer trims! They remind me of the old dial telephones.

FD This is a noname brand Beastie Boys boombox.



I have seen it again before but this one in particular had no brand at the front.

I never, ever see such delights at flea markets wherever I may go, it's somewhat sad to see the state of some of the items but refreshing to know they are still around in markets. I'd love to find a flea market just like this.

Great to see this thread make a return Deech. Still loads of finds even in the first one of the year!!

Yeh I love these tours...no grails this time but still love seeing any to be honest! I know whenever I see anything at a car boot I’m really pleased even if it’s crap lol

It was my first day there after quite some time maybe 6 or 7 months.
I was eager to buy some
so i had to pick that Panasonic 5090
and that strange little Unisef AF 2000 N with the detachable tape player (walkman).
I just couldnt let them there.

Went to a warehouse today and i bought 5 more from a guy.
A trained eye can easily recognise the models !
So this weekend was a hit ! A Big Hit.

Lots of entry level boxes, but nothing to bring home!

The market pretty much resembled
the Athenian Market thats true, a lot of entry level boomers but occasionally if you insist and frequent those places
you do get to find some bigger ones. You get to know some of the sellers and they provide you with what you might want.

Looks like a Philips elephant at the back, not sure on the next one, a JVC RC828 maybe, then a Crown, front one not sure

Reno please share a pic of your 980 if possible , i would so much like to see it.

The one i got didnt have the battery cover but i have a spare one from a Crown CSC-850
which is black and the 980 is sand ?cream? (i dont know exactly) .
How can i match the colour and repaint it? Does anyone have an idea about that?
Should i take it to a colour shop to get a sample from its colour and make me a spray paint to match?

Btw (not situated with the post) what is that (SA) added below the avatar ? (Still Addicted) ?
