There was a guy selling these out of the back of a box truck set up at the swap meet and stacked radios up in big pyramids.

it's the only decent sanyo iv'e ever heard to be honest i just think there VERY over rated lol, i can't use the sanyo 920 it's just so disappointing but keep it for it's looks lol

I'll tell you if you ever seen the sanyo MCD 60 k. It is absolutely the most badass CD Boombox I've ever seen in my life.

3-piece boxes usually have more bass than 1-pieces, but most of them have very weak mids, and just can't project high volume over a long distance. Take the Telefunken for instance, it's my best-sounding box, absolutely fills a room with warm bass, but if I took it outdoors you'd have to be within 100 feet to hear it.

Maybe the WX1 is an exception, but I kinda doubt it. I bet an M70 could be heard at a greater distance.

I used it for years, until it fell off a shelf and got broken beyond repair.
I still have the manual and sales receipt I think.
Great sounding and feature packed boomer.

i have 3 of them now skip but they all have issues lol

i agree Reli lad it would be no good outside for 1 main reason, weight lol and as discussed in another post i didn't find the wx1 loud and again far to heavy lol
