i noticed that boxes with the controls on the top are easier to use when carrying and listening at the same time,if the box is on a shelf the top controls are almost useless,now if you are carrying it on your shoulder then front controls are easier to use,i kinda like the controls on the top because you don't have to bend over as much to use the controls when the radio is sitting on a table or on the ground . i love the m70 i mean when i turn it up loud and leave it that way for a minute i keep having to turn it down cuz the it is a loud ass box ,bass is not everything to a box i do believe if it looks loud it should be ,if it looks cheap it probably is,if a box does not sound good or at least decent for the cost to me i would throw it out the window before wasting anymore time on it.
