Agree on the HK-9000! That's a monster too, but not yet as loud as the RX-A2. Got two of these and I love them. Great party boxes! Also on batteries

Yeah those Sony FH's are kings in the bass and treble department. Don't think they have enough mids to be the loudest, though.

For "earth shattering" bass, it's got to be the JVC RV-B90 Kaboom, and for pure obnoxious volume, it's got to be the Sharp GF-777Z.

I agree on the RV-B90 as far as the BASS. I love bass and the RV-B90 is my favorite.

Oh, yeah!!! I can tell those slotted ports are NO joke SON!!! My days as a roadie gave me tons of experience with cabinets & I can tell the real thing when I see it & that is just one badass powerhouse for sure. Is it a portabale?? I bet it sounds amazing with the tweeters sandwiched between all that BASS/mid power....

In fact. that looks like a time-aligned design...
