Wow, that box is (somewhat) smaller than I thought! :-O i wonder if can it almost be considered a "mini"? :hmmm:

It is designed similar to the kaboom with the side firing sub and radiator on the other side.
I dont have a kaboom anymore but I would venture to say the Altec is not as boomy.
I would say it has a fuller range Plus the 7 band eq really allows you to tweak
the sound according to the genre of music you like to listen to.
If I had to choose between the two I would get the Altec for sure because of the sound quality and design.
If anyone is on the fence about getting one I would say get off and go get one!!!
You will be pleased with the sound. It gets quite loud and no distortion at full volume with the bass up.

does it have a line-in and a line -out ?

and is the equalizer electronic-

That would be a great box for me to get sometime next year. :yes: I'd have to get a black iPod Classic or bottom-of-the-line iPod Touch to match it with tho...

1st up on my list of boxes to get before January is over, is either a Conion TC-999 ;-) , a Conion C100-F ;-) , a Toshiba RT-S90 or a Victor RC-M90. :cool:
