Do these grills yellow out over the years or are they originally that color?

Looks so much better without.

Do your tweeters produce any sound? I've owned 2 or 3 of those boxes, and the tweeters couldn't be detected at all.

I detect no sound from the tweeters.

Sounds like an upgrade is in order!

With some modifications 5150 can be turned into a very good decent size box.
Tweeter, speaker and grill upgrade and a good paint job will make a world of difference.
I have a mint one!
Some day I will work on it.

That does look way better! Makes me cringe though thinking of the speakers being so exposed though... I could see my 2 year old just poking at them till she made a hole.
