FINALLY... something electronic I bought for just a buck (and can prove it)! (It was buried on a shelf behind a stack of DVD's.) It's a Seiko (not the watch company) Instruments KX-A22FX. Now that I found it, I'm free to obsess about something else. What a relief!

Well-There's the Panasonic LTD mono boombox I just got for 1.00 at a garage sale,no tax,no shipping so I got it even cheaper than if it was .99!!
Then there's the Silver mono boombox for a 1.00 & a Emerson mono for 1.00 all at garage sales so I guess since I paid no shipping it should be close enought to .99!

I did get a couple of Walkmans for .99 & a a radio for .49!

Large boombox-got a Sony CFD-550 for free! That's better than .99!
Yes these are the deals that are hard to find!

The thing is Fatdog, the guy sold me a bunch of old Maxell and BASF tapes here in picture for $0.25 each and then as I was about to leave he stopped me and just gave me the TEAC for free...... I just shook my head and gave him a dollar, JUST BECAUSE!

i was still hungry after the yummy jr whopper --

so i whipped out my reserve 99 cents

but they had run fresh out of whoppers :'-(

instead --they offered me any color of their 99 cent NIB teac metal
reel collection -

slick me --wouldnt fall for it --
as i have been involved in these ' bait 'n switch ' scams before --

so i demanded a rain check on the whopper -
and stomped right out of there :annoyed: :annoyed:
