Hey Northerner i was wondering if anyone else on here watched the Wombles ! That's a family portrait -i used to be known as Orinoco . As long as i have lived in Canada(33 years) i have yet to see a Womble in the wild or anywhere!

Gotta love the wombles...they were into recycling way before the rest of the world...visionaries they were lol

Tomsk was my favourite womble as he was hard as nails

My iPhone just self corrected the word 'womble' to 'Wimbledon' which is quite appropriate lol

I believe that the makers of that masterpiece of wildlife documentary had to dress up as Wombles in order to be accepted into the herd by the wild variety. Legend has it that a junior camera operator was dismissed from his post when there was later some controversy over the parentage of Madame Cholet's baby Womble.

Hang about though. Wasn't that a pop video? Oh no, I've been getting Wombles and Gorillas mixed up again haven't I. Sorry, this happens some times.
