John, 48 years on this planet, part time college development coordinator, working with special needs students who want to work in engineering and the other part of the time I work for a small charity that provides furniture to people fleeing domestic abuse, political refugees and others in housing crisis.
The SAC-05L in the picture - a fresh picture taken a few minutes ago with my laptop webcam - is one that I was given as an 18th birthday present by my parents so I've owned that for a shade over 30 years now and it still works, in spite of having been the least reliable piece of equipment ever. I love it though.

Im Simon, or generally people just call me Sim for short, from Australia. im 28 and have been working on euro cars for the last 8 years, primarily Audi but working with Volkswagen atm. Only joined here a few months ago but have always have a massive interest in boomers since my old man had an M70 when i was younger.

Serously that was only one time!! I was so tired of thomas the tank engine!
My girlfriend Susan and I getting together (literally, that was three years ago now) with the help of an Aiwa 770
A touch of modeling in berlin (Susan is a snap addict) Both boxes were nabbed that morning at a flea market, the sexy Sanyo went via SuperDuper to Ira and arrived as a swan! The Blaupunkt went to Florida too i think, not sure of the buyer. Ebay selling boomboxes while traveling = crazy fun

My name is Aram (yes, that's how it's spelled). 33 years old. I have been collecting for about one year. It happened by accident when a C-100 fell out of the sky and interrupted my golf game. Anyway...I'm a Licensed Construction Supervisor for a mid-sized Metro-Boston roofing company. That's a fancy name for someone who has a CS license and a good rapport with building inspectors (think "petrolium transfer technician").
I don't have any pics of myself with any blasters, but this is me at my Mom's house in PSL, FL playing with the web cam and checking craigslist for blasters before leaving for the Stuart Flea. Didn't score any blasters that day, but got some minty B.B. King Lp's.
