Well said! Everybody has his ups and downs, but the existence of a forum like this is necessary. Today's boomboxes and stereo equipment may be more effetive than in the past but we are all in love with 1980s boomboxes because most of today's products ca soul.

I agree. And I wish you the best with your collection, I can see how passionate you are from the posts where you show your progress with your units (mostly JVC)
In my 53 years on Earth I've never seen any new stereo equipment that even compares with the old stuff it might sound good to the untrained ear but to me it doesn't they've managed to sanitize it down to where it's not even interesting the new stuff has almost no weight to it as were the old stuff is super heavy and has great looks and sound to match mind you that's not everything just like with the new stuff but for the most part I stick with the old I have tape players in both my vehicles with older amplifiers and older subwoofers and they sounded good then they sound good now.

Yes it takes a dedicated person to see these projects through and end up having a great result . This newer equipment when it breaks you might as well throw it in the trash because you can't even work on it.

the K7 is also very brilliant in copying and reading.. very faithful for a Boombox!!

it is well built but a little complicated to disassemble

Radio raheem

Requiem Æternam
If I remember correctly there's one model Above This the PCX 500.
These are a Mite underpowered luckily for every other Boombox out there cuz these things sound awesome.
that is the only one i have never had lad

as for the other having passive rads i never knew that.....if i hadn't thrown out my spare knackered one i would have investigated lol

if these had more power something like
an m90 would not get a look in lol

that thing in my av is like these but better and louder
