Thanx guys! As mentioned before..the KENWOOD isnt really a boombox because it hasnt got a battery compartment although its(partly) portable..but it is very rare and sounds really amazing and still has the original antenna with the very special blue tip..in my personal opinion it sounds like any (real)boombox should! A very deep bass and more than enough high and a lot of power thanks to the additional amplifier and 3-way speakers..I am happy with it and i have also the original pamflet which i will try to photograph within a few hours. The Philips D-8614 really sounds fantastic for its seize..when i picked it up i had my doubts because it looked very small in comparision with other boomboxes, but when i turned it on the fantastic sound really amazed me!
From this one i also have the manual and i bought it from the first owner so its in the original state and everything works just like it left the factory almost 30 years ago, in other words its as new! The 8614 was on my wishlist and finally i have one and i am also very happy with this tiny blaster.

The Elephant sounds very well because of the SPATIAL STEREO switch, you can adjust the stereo sound to a sort of wide experience and that works very well. The 8614 has this switch also. I already own the version with the analoque tuner (D-8714) but this one has a digital tuner and different speakers, but they sound the same.

The coffeeshops in Amsterdam are most of the time visited by foreigners on vacation because they are te best clients for some grass, it doesnt attract me or my family at all and i dont smoke anyway so to resist them is not too difficult for us....When people hear that you are living in Amsterdam they dont seem to realize that Amsterdam is a lot more than Coffeeshops(where you can get everything but coffee) and that most people are hardworking men and women who live a normal life without any kind of drugs, so my answer is that i ONLY spent my spare free time on my hobbies and one of them is collecting boomboxes at the moment...
