Hi fellas,


Its been awhile. Just wanted to give you a heads up on a very special boombox that we came out with a few years ago, the i931 Chromed out edition that we are putting up for auction. This is 1 of 2 that was ever made (we have the other one as well). This is the same box that we showed at the 2008 CES show in Las Vegas.

Because chroming something so big and oddly shaped is not very cost efficient, we only made 2 of these to use for promotional purposes.

The box has been in our warehouse ever since debuting it at CES. It has some cosmetic blemishes and because of the chroming process, the tuner may have some distortion. Other than that, it is in working condition although it would be more suitable as a show piece. This is the original i931 with the iPod dock; no bluetooth)

I have seen this radio and it is SICK!

I spoke to Albert about it and he said it was so difficult to chrome a plastic item that big that they won't be doing any more and actually ruined a few trying to do it.

That's a real piece of Lasonic history right there.

Here is a picture of a bunch of i931 prototypes including that Chrome one, bottom front. I took this picture at the old Lasonic factory a few years back. By far, that was the sickest radio they had.

I'm sure you want more than that! The drool pile on your key board must be huge when you look at the auction for the chrome one..... I know because mine is! hahaha

Actually i would love to have that chrome Lasonic on e-Bay...but i think i will end up doing my own i931 chrome rendition instead. I'm still calling dibs on your graffiti i931...it's so bad@ss :-D
