JVC RC550 is simply amazing!!!

Dear Friends,

Today was another lucky day for me!



I got a LIKE NEW RC550.

This one got the 5 band radio. The SW bands work crystal clear!! I couldn't belive it.

I don't think I will sleep tonight.

I might wake up thinking that it is just a dream.
I will post pictures later. Shh !!! wife didn't know about it....

All my savings for a JVC M90 is gone....

The only bad part was..... I had to pay...a LOOOOOOOTTT

I love my JVC RC550 its my favorite boombox its has good sound for a mono you got to get one of blu_fuz straps for it then your ready to go

Your 5350 surely sounds better....

Now, JVC does usually have better tuner reception than Panasonics, but other than that.....

very thin sound --not anything what we expect from 10 inch woofs -

but ramonchito-
replaced his and mine with brand new sony 10 inchers = MUCH MUCH better

I'm glad you are impressed,myself I agree with Bill,I'm not impressed with the RC550's sound quality. :annoyed:
However,it does have an excellent tuner in all bands.........

it's one of those boxes you have to listen too a lot in order to appreciate the sound , out doors they can get fairly loud if you turn the bass down , i think the size of the woofer was meant to project a large sound more than it was meant as a thumping sub woofer so if you base your judgement on bass you will be disappointed .

overall it's not horrible sounding you just have to remember the era in which it was made and what it was made for , and these do a damn fine job at that .
