This is the Z axis tape people were talking about
Both Apple and Sharp have used it (or something similar) in their products.

No I haven't tried it for an LCD repair.

This looks incredibly promising, because it is able to double side, glue multiple points and not create cross connection between near points. Can be cut to required strip size. I think you've found the solution product longman! Going to order and try it on next PC-55 display that needs it.

....the 55 is the most beautiful box that jvc ever made.....forget the mickey mouse m90 lol

Oh, and I agree, the PC-55 is gorgeous. Don't get me wrong, not like my retinas burn and I need to look away when an M90 is in front of me, but the plastic construction of the M90, enclosure speaker resonance are but a few things that take it down a notch.

I've also seen RC-M90 manuals that note 8.5 watts per channel also, although we're used to seeing 20 watts per channel versions mostly. JVC PC-55 is 27 watts per channel plus (in my view) those much better built detachable speakers mean the drivers have a containment with some absorption material inside - the just sound nice. Of course the cassette deck is absolutely bling, and now longman may have found for us the conductive tape that will make repair of the display quick and easy. It's a good day for JVC PC-55s!

all the m90 are the same power my friend. i have had all versions////currently have the victor, and although it's supposed to be lower it's not and yup 8.5 w per channel is about right across the board for them all

Patient has arrived!
Missing element encounter, lower left showing nothing, no direction info, no noise reduction info. Not opened yet to see if backlights were replaced at some point.

3M Z-Axis tape ordered. ...to be continued/verified.
