I'm curious who won that JVC M-90 Front cover from the seller Awsomedog on ebay? I should have posted here that I had first dibs I even made him three offers but never received any respond from him and due to my mothers health I got distracted from the auction.

Hi Ford-I was watching it but it sold for 190.00 to somebody!
Mine isn't that bad-sure my eject button is scratched but other than that it's in really good shape.
BUT-I was looking-That guy wants way to much $ for some of his stuff.
I mean Man-55.00 + shipping for 1 antenna!!
What a jerk!!
That might be ok for both not 1!
He even wanted to begin with 279.00 for just the deck and that isn't working!!!! :nonono:
Now he dropped it to 189.00-that's at the point of being a crook!!
I don't like sellers like this-he had a M-90 that didn't work so he parts it out to get over a 1,000 for it.
I hope somebody tells this guy off or something.
I would love an antenna but not 1 for over 60.00!! :annoyed:
Have a good one-GB. :-)

whoever bought it screwed themselves ,i would have just put that money towards a complete m90 ,no way in hell i would dish out that kind of money to make even an m90 look good ,i bought 2 beater m90's for less than that, when i say beater m90's i mean i can actually use them without caring if the get a little scratched up here and there.

OK.... I admit I am nuts... but I bought both of those over-priced M90 antenna today. My reason being I have a very, very nice M90 that's only issue is an antenna that is missing it's tip. And I am pretty sure that these are an exact match for mine, but not 100% sure. So I bought them both in case I need to replace them both to get a match. Nuts? Maybe... but I know that the value of my M90 with complete intact antenna went up more than what I paid for the antenna, even at a high price. That is why deck doors sell for so much. You can't just look at the price... you have to look at what value it adds to your boombox. For me that is the determining factor. :stereo:

BTW I also bought that set of knobs from the same seller. At $48 it was expensive, but should I ever need one now I don't have to go begging in the wanted section. :bang:

i saw/admired his very original m90 at both meets --

hey spud --
you are very correct about the deck doors -
none of my home-made jobs are very desirable (for a re-sale box) :-) :-D

as the deck doors --are the 'in-your-face' critical piece
-------------------------

but --i am not as sure as you are - that the exact correct antennas
are such a $$ big deal to customers ??

EVERYBODY likes to buy and use m90s -
no matter what the antennas are
:-)

Thanks Ira I know Frank could do magic but in my case just the trim piece is not original and it would be nearly impossible to remove. I'll just have to wait for another opportunity.
