ey up vladi thanks for enguring but i have heard nothing and can do nothing as this wasnt bought on my account as i have no paypal, i have asked the seller whats going on with my account but i doubt he will respond as to him im not the buyer.

My friend whose this account belongs to dosent seem to be bothered about the situation and i have asked him countless amount of times to send an email on my behalf but he WONT or cant be bothered so your guess is as good as mine vladi looks like i have lost £200 on this and another friend IF nothing happens, it's stange but i TRUSTED redbenjoe more than this guy if only we could patch things up, yes im a WANKER at times but we all make miss judgments aspecially when drunk.

Back to the guy who has used his account for this if nothing happens thats another friend i have lost, im not sure if im being over sencetive about this but if it was HIS money im sure he would be emailing the guy.

Tim, I think everything is going to be ok - those Chinese sellers sometimes send crap, but they always do send something. When I bought my GF-777 from China - I haven't heard from the seller ever after I sent the money - the boombox just showed up one day....

I sure hope your wright my friend btw how long did it take and was she sent by air?

i here you vladi but if the situation was reverssed i would be emailing the seller just to put my buddy at rest, as my mate has actually said he hasnt sent one email.

Good point Vladi, I can't recall a non delivery from these Chinese sellers but I can recall a fair amount of crap.

Tim, I think that delivery took from one to two weeks - but I bought mine more than two years ago - so I don't remember exactly

Don, ya - I don't recall anybody ever saying they didn't get a boombox from China - but some people commented that it wasn't as advertised. So I think it will show up sooner rather than later

Didn't the seller provide a tracking number for the item he's sending...???
I've got a tracking number and right now, I know its on a plane/boat making its way here...
In the past it took approximately takes 4-5 days from China to the UK...then when it arrives
into Heathrow / ship docks...its anyone guess how long customs has it...again could
be 2 days to 2 months from past experiences...with the added insult of additional duties to be
paid. GIven that the shipping has already cost $200 already to be slapped with $100+ duty...
so makes these rare boxes financially unviable....but I keep saving to myself, that at least, I'm a
small minority of folk that have a rare functional box in the (UK) country !

congrats on 2 things dude your from the uk that can't be bad and also i hear you bought the other 939 nice one I have just been given a tracking number and yes i belive the box is at heathrow, i hope i dont get charged any tax because i have no money whatsoeaver at the moment, such is life.

This thing is frightfully loud i have been playing with her for about an hour now, the graphic eq gives you to much choice but this thing based on it's own merits is THE REAL DEAL the spectrum is just gorgous i would say volume wize it maches the m90 but you have to push the eq quite high i should think if you maxed the eq well i dread to think the sound is GREAT but it suffers from the flat diafram syndrome it's hard to explaine but i think with some padding in there like my pana 55 (freddie has one) i think she will be SUPERB i have heard way more expencive boxes like the sanyo 920 for get them lol this box is a MUST for any collector you will not be dissapointed.

Mine has a slight deck problem wich i will adress in another thread basically deck 2 dosent work in reverse unless you hold the direction switch down but apart from that she is fine GUYS you must GET one.

The only problem I have then is getting it into the house, unwrapping it - cleaning up the foam bits
(you all know what I mean... ) and temporary hiding it before the wife comes home....
I was 'officially' told a few days ago...NO more boxes !

Ok here is the Answer you have all been waiting for

Wich is loudest The m90 is the clear winner on tape but REMEMBER THE m90 i used has been made much louder on cassette

You can set the sharp basically to the max BUT you get no distortion

The m90 hits slight distortion on half volume and then the power just goes mad lol

Wich SOUND do i prefure again the m90 wins thats just because i love the footprint of the sound the m90 produces and also the speakers have been changed.

This takes nothing away from the 939 For £200 all in inc shipping IF i had the money i would buy the 939 ALL day long

The grapic and spectrum analizer are AMAZING and this machine is no light weight it has PLENTY of POWER and without a doubt it is the BEST buy i have had this YEAR not including m90's.

I cant STRESS enough how GOOD this box is

The AMP in the 939 must be a beaffy bugger as it has one of those cercuit protectors installed the typ that CLICKS when you turn the unit on or off.

I think it shares the same AMP as the gx300 cant remember the MN but OLDSCHOOOL knows the one i mean. forget your ha 1932's found in the 777 CONION c100 this is a big amp found in home hifi oldy can CLARIFY i hope.

All in all buy the 939 i should think it whip the likes of a 777 and with all the FEATURES you can't compare, so go AHEAD and buy, VLADI next time you see a 939 for £100 plus shipping just buy and forget about the shipping you WONT regret it
