J 1 or C 100 ?

Personally I'd rather listen to the j1 if it's for a long period of time as I also find the c100 tends to hurt your ears after a while.... It kinda has a mid range sound that seems to make you want to lower the volume when playing it loud for a while!
To look at I like both but I guess the c100 wins in that department!

C100 wins hands down 10 out of 10 times in every category and on every level.
J1 is like a push up bra...looks like there's more inside but there ain't.

I crank my boxes to the max but what I'm saying is the c100 has a sound that's not that nice after having cranked for to long!
As for the 5350..... Yer beats the sound of a c100 hands down!

How about a CONION C100F Korean version? Whats your guys opinions on it? I heard it lacks some features like the vu's, weighted tuner and a few other things, but supposedly they still thump :hmmm:

You may be on to something there Steve, as they are both made in Korea.. That would be more of a "fair fight"..
If you are looking to get a C-100F, save your pennies for a Japan model..
There's something to be said about blasters "Made in Korea", but I won't say it..

My 5350 sounds way better than a C100 and probably any J1. It is hi-fi as it gets from a boombox. Up there with the M90.

If I had a choice, I'd go for the 5350. That's on my short list.
The other two would be nice to have for a few months, though.
Still, wouldn't turn any of these beasts down. Beggars can't be choosers. :blush:

I posted that picture of that radio because I'm thinking of getting rid of it to get either a j1 or a c100...

This has turning into a monster of a thread. I think it's kick ass on how divided the field is. But I think if you count it up, the C100 wins :yes:

I prefer C100 but the problem with them is there is a good chance for the amp chips blowing which really s--ks!!!
