Once apon a time I was taking to my cousin about boomboxes and he says"Hey my wife has a big boombox she has had since the 1980's". :w00t:
I said I would love to see it sometime.
So today i was at his house and I mentioned the Boombox and he said I'll see if I can find it. :breakdance:
Well a little digging around and he pulled this out of a closet.
It's a Lasonic TRC-931.
His wife owned it since around 1985 or so.
I asked her if I could buy it from her and she said sure make me an offer.
Well lets just say she accepted my offer.
She said she has the missing buttons for the deck somewhere,so those will come later.
Not a bad day afterall....... :afro:

Thanks Ira,she sounds pretty nice. I'm hoping I can get the original keys from my cousin. I have all the cassette key except two.

:agree: The original is the best!

Should look great after a good cleaning/detailing and whatnot...

Those boxes were released in August 1986 - check the battery compartment for the manufacture date. ;-)

Congratulations!
