I like the Aiwa decks. The bias adjustment is nice and it actualy has a guide based on the tape manufacturers.

...and is that a Telefunken HP 800 that you can just see the top of????

The JVC tapedeck I've had for what seems an eternity, didn't get from the meet. It's a KD-A33 and does not have Dolby but does have Super ANRS and the old FeCR and SA/Cr02 selection feature.

And yep, the HP-800 you see is Frank's old unit. Bobby won it but before he even took possesion I worked a deal for him to get my PC-55 and the 'Funken came home with me.

Hey JT, I was the one Ira suckered into buying the JVC tape deck. It's very nice.

I thought so... It sure looks similar, doesn't it??? I almost took that one home with me, but I got that portable JVC from Ira instead. It has a slight static issue on one channel when you work the controls, but it performs incredibly well. I will need to open it up and carefully apply some deoxit to some of the contacts to get from 95% to 100%. I'm really glad I got it...

I suck for straying off-topic. So, I'll shut up now...
