Hello, everyone,
I open this older topic, because now my moment has come - I came across a preserved / working 3D70 and I have a great desire to combine the good old stereo with the new technologies.
I plan to make the following changes to this good audio machine:
1. to completely exclude the consumption of the preamplifier part related to the tape function and the microphone;
2. to exclude the control and the consumption of the engine for the cassette mechanics;
3. on the position tape of the selector to connect / embed the Bluetooth module
4. to correct, if necessary, the line input in order to include a mobile phone or other source through it;
5. to add RF tweeters to the broadband speakers, with good filters (or possibly to replace them with two-way car speakers).
If I get good ideas / recommendations I would work on the internal separation of the speakers from the total volume of the box.
A service manual is available here: https://elektrotanya.com/hitachi_trk-3d70_3d75.pdf/download.html
I will be infinitely grateful for any help from you and will share my progress on this project.
