Hi Frank-Nice restoration!! I'm always amazed how you get the whole box apart and clean it like this!
I wish I had the room and table to do this kind of resto!
Maybe someday when I move to a bigger place I can take on such a job.
Great work as always!!-GB. :-)   :surf:

...stunning work Frank, you are truly talented. What is the paint code for that silver paint? I have a silver grail to redo and that color is perfect....

@ Freddie I dont know is Bobby making me graphics???
@ Ghetto I dont really have a specific spot to do this.
Usually where ever, on the floor , kitchen counter , bath tub  you just have to be creative.
@ Paul The speaker cages are 6 1/2 wide and 6 1/8 from mounting hole to mounting hole.
speakers are 2 inches deep. Also the box = mine now. :-D
@ Melly check the pics for the paint and color code.
The paint is an awesome match and goes on nice and even and also dries very fast.
within minutes you are done and can handle the part.
I would say using this specific paint even amateur painters could get great results.
I ame getting really close to being done and I am very excited with how its progressing so without further adue .
More PICS!!!!!

Well ,
Got it all back together.
Still having some mechanical issues including a farting right speaker.
So if anyone has some replacement 6 inch speakers for me please let me know.
My speaker dimensions are somewhere on this thread.
I didn't put the cassette door back on because the box will have to come apart again,
and the brainiacs at Nippon put the tape door screws under the glued on aluminum trim.
You guessed it the tape door has to come off to open the case.
Here are the pics Enjoy!!!!!

Damn, Frank! Another amazing restoration.

I think you just increased the value of that "beater" by about $7,000,000,062.18. :-)
