These were mfg in 1950, nice solid radio with shortwave, runs on 220 volts ac ! Good Luck getting her fixed up, nice radio !

wow, any ideas what its worth? (out of curiosity) working/not working, good condition/not so good condition

The unit I posted above was bought at a bootsale in bad condition for $15 and is now for sale for $200. Not a popular radio but it is still beautiful. Would be worth a lot more in the states if it ran on 120 Volts. You would pretty much lose money unless you could do the radio and woodwork yourself, but if my Grandpa owned it, I might hang onto it.

just out of curiosity, i wondered its value..... it would be going back to the garage either way

If you want to help minimize detereoration, try keeping it INDOORS ! Wood doesn't like humidity and heat ! Good Luck
