this was an $$$$ expensive win --
but -- oh --wanna talk rare and beautiful -- this is IT !!!

SHOW YOUR BLUE JOBS .....now

Don't remember the auction at all. If I paid a lot, then not remembering is probably a good thing... kind of like blocking out the moment of impact when you've been in an auto accident.

Anyhow... here's a Sharp from my "blue period": the WQ-562. Can't vouch for the accuracy of the lighting on this one, either.

Unfortunately, it seems that bright colors were pretty much confined to mini's. Other than on a few Japanese domestics (and Kabooms), I can't say I know of a full-size vintage box in a pretty color. But, please... someone prove me wrong! (Gold doesn't count!)

Hope half-blue counts. Here are couple of photos of the blue-on-the-back-only Marantz PMS-5.

I took this one inside so you can see the LED's light up.

I took this one outside, so you can see the blue. Bright, huh?

Oh, and, just for fun, here's my really blue Singing Machine SMG-146 CD-radio Karaoke box. Anybody care about this one? I didn't think so.

Would a half-blue boombox be considered a bluelatto? :-D

Can't forget the blue tuner dial and accents on the GF-1000!

Even a little blue accenting on the PC-55 and C-126 in this photo. Go blue! :-D

Sorry to pull this one out for the second time this year... but, heck, it's got blue all over it! A Japan-market Toshiba RT-CS1.
