will always remember this ebay auction - :-O
and the seller who was an old s2g member -

this week - on our " best mini " thread -
BSL posted it -- :angelic: :drool: :drool: :drool:

i dropped out at about the 1/2 way mark --
this was an $$$$ expensive win --
but -- oh --wanna talk rare and beautiful -- this is IT !!!

anybody else have this deep blue 7900 ?
ever see one for sale ???

or --for that matter -
anybody have any blue boxes of any brand ??

is that very far from you ?

also --i believe his photo lighting is screwing up the color -
it looks purple there -
but in the original ebay listing -
it was a gorgeous deep blue

that 7900 is an object of lust, that's for sure.

as for other blue boxes, I believe there's a few National Panasonic blue mini's, and there a few Sharp's mostly in the QT range.

Oh and somewhere on yahoo auctions japan last year I saw a National Blue F333

i have also seen a photo of a very cool blue hitachi -
think it was part of their 8600 line -
mono has the maroon version

Definitely a more aesthetically pleasing colour than the silver job.

This is my only blue box.

Roman u just correct (edited it) - Philips to right Grundig :lol: . ( i think u are typing Philips first for your name than "ops im Roman" :lol: )
