I think getting the max or over what I would think "max" price would be on a boombox I am selling is kind of the incentive for me to collect. I don't sell a lot of boxes, but some of the good deals I find and then sell for profit usually gets rolled right back into collecting. 99% of the time I will be using that money to buy another boombox.
Get the money while you can. Ask what you want, the customer will determine what you will really sell it for. I like to pass on some deals to members if I can/want, but if I throw it on epay, I want everything and more than what I think it is "worth". Just part of the game.
The profits are like paying for my hard work to find the deals I get scouring the internet for hours a day, using my fuel/vehicle heading to thrift stores, flea's, and garage sales. It isn't free for me to do all these things, so why should I pass on my good findings for cheap?
