I think they should have a back that's the same color as the front but keep in mind you can fix this with $5 for the spray paint.

Oh and five or six dollars for the tape so you're in about 10 to 12 bucks.

Did you get to judge how easy it would be to take apart? I assume there's screws on the back?

Unfortunately Reli I had to return my one after reviewing so didn't get to take it apart but yeah there are screws on the back, would of been interesting to open one.

they all look great in all colours but over a year on I would of thought they would of updated the model either removing the cd player and upgrading the sound and quality of the other features, GPO have given something that other companies have not considered making so why not make a premium version of this unit instead of a unit that "is a jack of all trades and master of none" looking good and sounding good are two different things.

I love my silver version and now that black is out probably should get it. It’s a great unit and $300 really isn’t to bad for all the features.

Do you need to unplug your battery after charging to keep the battery up? If they could get that one issue wrapped up that would be my only complaint. Otherwise, doesn't take long to disconnect battery until needed and I love mine as well.

I think black might work better on this box because you wouldn't see the smaller tweeter inside the speaker grill cover outlined with the plastic face. You would only notice the chrome dust cap. Been thinking about removing my speaker grills and painting the surrounding silver face black so it will blend in
