This weekend i got myself a nice big box...a Sanyo M-X920K in top condition and fully working! Definitely the best box in my collection :)

It's an amazing machine...very loud and tons of bass, and of course it looks gorgeous!! :)

Nice! Best tuning knob and tape door of any 1-piece! Kinda disappointed at the low-volume bass, though. Most Lasonics will whoop its butt in that department.

Now you have this and seing as how it's that good, you won't be needing your M70 any more so I I'll do you a favour by taking the M70 off your hands and what's more; I won't even charge for disposal.

Makes sense, yes?

Like the Sanyo, it looks hard as nails.

Ha ha! Well I will need to clear some space as I came home with a boot full of boxes lol but strangely enough my beloved M70 will be staying put! :)

Thanks fellas :-D

I spent way more on this one than any of my other boxes (I'm a cheapskate!) but it came from a forum member who is great to deal with. He fixed my M70 in the past and I got to pick up my repaired Aiwa TPR990 at the same time as this Sanyo so I came away from his place with two fantastic boxes :-D

I've got a few boxes now but I wanted one really big, top quality box and the 920 was the one I fancied because it was just so good looking so I blew the budget big time (for me!).

Really happy with it and if anyone gets to do any deals with Dave (Docs) then you'll be as happy as me

only got it back home yesterday evening so haven't had an opportunity to compare the two, and I already know which I'd rather own.........both of them :-D

will do a side by side at some point as I find it hard to compare without listening to them at the same time...I wouldn't like to say which wins without having a blast first...its a good excuse to turn them up anyway..."no dear I'm not listening to music too loud, I'm doing a scientific experiment"

Buddy, said it before, this one is has it all.. and a great owner now too!!
Thanks Hurb, I'm aiming for quality now over quantity and this is QUALITY!! loving this machine and I'll love it even more once its had its strip down and detailed clean just to get it perfectly shiny...hope to get that done at the weekend. But this is a one off, I'm not going to start buying up loads of big expensive boxes, it was painful enough paying for this one lol :)

Beautiful Sanyo  not to bad to work on either ;-)
Cheers Bill. No work needed luckily :)

Found a service manual and its a chassis type set up...looks easy to remove (just for a case clean) is this true?
