both spot light on the top --
were working perfectly --

then - the next day --when i started it up --
they were both DEAD !!!  :'-( ????

plus the deck motor --that runs BOTH decks - runs way too fast to use-

Oh, this should be no problem! ;-)
Both lamps are serial connected.
If one burns out, both dead!
Also there is a "flying" fuse on the trafo cable inside.
Does the ball turn?
I´m not sure the fuse is only for light or all effects.

Also maybe the switch?
The box has the red mainswith at bottom, and the swith for the disco in the middle.
Maybe failure?

If the power supply is well and the lamps ok (take them off and measuring with a multimeter), then open the lamps!
The connection inside is some kind of sh*t, unbelieveable!
I´ve "tuned" mine with new contacts, a few photos follows soon.
Here the original lampcontacts next to my "new" electrical clamp: :'-( :-)

THANKS VS -
yes -the disco ball still turns well --

Ok, then should´nt be much trouble! :angelic:

I would open the projectors and look inside.
The electric clamps are so weak and when they shortcircuit... :annoyed:
And the screws to open are such kind of  .
Maybe you need an yellow chinese screwdriver to open it.

True! :-D

Can you also hear the motor of the ball humming when playing silent?

About the projectors:
My next job will be to replace them against LED-lamps!
I´m afraid to play it longer than 30minutes, because of overheating the lamps. :hmmm:
They are going so hot....
I want to prevend thermical deformation of them. ;-)

And:
Would the foolish seller have taken them off and stored inside the box, the projectors would´nt be smashed now. :annoyed:
