Temporarily halting my searches due to lack of funds but I'll be back soon collecting Mono boxes, for my eye has shifted to the beauty of the Mono.

What is a name? I collect beauty and sound.

The big JVC RC-550 Mono is my dream calling

FUNK. DEEP FUNK. and Breaks, and FUNK.

Cassettes = 50
Radio = 0 {baltimore radio bites hard}

12, but 1 needs deck work.

3. Do you collect boomboxes or already have all you want?
I have a "Death List" i follow so I don't stray and end up with 100 boxes and no space.

4. Which brands do you prefer?
JVC but all others have their merits.

5. Do you have any personal favorites?
My first box that I still own. a JVC PC-11 that is complete and fully operational!

6. What boomboxes are on your wish list?
The Big Mothers! :lol: and all the usual grails.

7. Do you have any for sale?
Cash rules everything around me.

Sure, what do you have and what are you looking for?

9. What kind of music do you like for your boomboxes?
Hip Hop, Funk, Electro, Jazz, Blues, Reggae, Rock and even Classical when I need some of that real old school, Ludwig Van is the man!

10. How do you divide time for cassettes/radio/line-in?
Cassettes = 15%
Radio = 25%
Line-In = 60%

11. How did you learn about Boomboxery?
I found the Pocket Calculator website first while looking for parts for my JVC PC-11 I wanted to restore, then it led me to S2G which led me to Boomboxery!

12. Occupation?
Importer, but trying to secure a position as an International Man of Leissure.

Is the most important thing we have.
None of my own, but I have a girlfriend named Steph and an old b!tch named Kiki.(15 year old pit/boxer mix)

Toledo, OH

16. Other Hobbies?
I enjoy playing baketball, cycling, vintage motorcycles(cafe racers), working out, SCCA Autocross, Auto and Bike tunning, music, vintage HiFi, fine cigars, strong libations, and lounging with the ladies.

17. What do you drive?
A car and a bicycle.
My Motorcycle is in peices so I just make vroom vroom noises when I'm messing with it.

All of the boomboxes are 240V, and shipping to a country outside Australia may be expensive.

Found an I931 on e-bay and researched the quality on the net which led to S2G and then my new home here.....

I'm a sucker for Lasonics, but I love Panasonic, JVC, and would love to experience a Sharp and Conion soon.

I got into this great hobby to get a 931. That's my all time fav. I smile everytime I play it.

M90, M90, M90, M90 and a bunch of others. ;-)

2008 Blacked out Jeep Liberty 4X4. Soon to be prettied up with a little lift and some chunkier tires (so it looks more Jeepish... you know). :afro:

Line-In = 0 Prefer my music analog (1's & 0's are OK, but sine waves are cool :cool: )
