Whats up everyone, as some of you know, Boomboxery member Max Poser aka (mmcodomino) was recently spotted in Montreal Canada with the one and only Gordie aka gsbadbmr. During his visit with Gordie, I got the chance to speak on the phone with Max for the 1st time since him and I sealed a deal for this bad boy back in March of this year. This OSAKA KS-35 discolite.

Anyhow, after our conversation, Max and I emailed back and forth and he mentioned that he would be coming to Southern California soon, so being that we don't have a big house with a guest bedroom, I offered my pop up tent trailer to him for a few nights, and he accepted the invitation to "Chateau SLO" I even set my JVC M70 in there for him to use whenever he wanted to.
Day 1...
He arrived in San Bernardino California on July 6th, where I picked him up in the "not so good" part of the city. Prostitutes galore
angry pimps, and gang bangers all over the bus station area, WELCOME TO CALIFORNIA MAX! So we got into my truck, punched the gas, and grabbed a few pizzas at a favorite place of mine near by, and of course, we ordered a few cold beers to wash it all down!

Day 2...
The next day, we met up with local California Boomboxery members ELDIRTYDINO (Stan) and Howie at a local sports bar called Heroes in Downtown Riverside, for the Germany vs France soccer game, more food, and more beer! After the game, we took it to the streets! We took some good pictures in Dowtown Riverside, Boomboxes in hand of course, and just hung out for a bit and blasted music, and shot the shiat while we waited for Dave to arrive. The night ended at Daves Man Cave later that night with what? Yes, you guessed it, more beer! And even more boomboxes. Heres some pics from the day.

Left to right, myself, Howie, Big Stan, Max.
Max last day of his stay with me and my wife consisted of a few beers in my garage in the early afternoon, while I washed my 82 Chevy El Camino for a cruise later on that night to my brother in-laws retirement party which happened to be in the neighborhood where I grew up in. Max got to meet my parents, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, neices, nephews and everyone else in between, Im sure it was overwhelming because he met EVERYONE. We ate, (again) drank, (again) and enjoyed the festivities including the dj and photo booth that was there. It was an ansolute pleasure meeting Max and having him as our guest even if it was just a few days.
I dropped Max off at Daves on Saturday morning, where bigger, badder adventures await him haha, to be continued.....
Its amazing how one single "boombox deal" can turn into a friendship. My 1st German friend haha. To me, thats worth more than ANY boombox. Cheers to Max, Germany and California united!
