Excellent looking boomer man!

I didn't know you were putting that strap on that style box. How did you get that huge strap clip onto that bar? I have a looped end style that would work with that box much nicer exactly like the silver strap picture a couple posts up with the looped end.
3. strap with no end hardware, just an adjustment buckle and the ends looped to slide onto boomboxes with bars on the tops (example: JVC RC-550, Candle JTR-1287/Helix, Crown CSC-850, Crown CSC-980, Sanyo M9982, Hitachi TRK-8200, GE 3-5254, and many more. Strap width varies from 3/4"-1.5" depending on the boombox)

So how would this work? Do you have any photos of a boombox with this style strap on it? I don't want to use a clip on this style boombox but have yet to see how this exactly works.

Thanks!

That style you need to open up your boombox and slide the strap loop ends over the metal bars that are fixed to the boombox. The bar is usually too close to the plastic case of the boombox so you can't get a quick clip style to latch on.

1 lucky member wanted some straps made out of an actual belt that he found. The bulk strap material isn't really available to a guy like me so the only option was to cannibalize 2 belts to make 2 straps.

Started with 2 of these ugly Enjoi Panda Rasta Belts:

And turned them into these beautiful Enjoi Rasta Straps:

Just ordered mine for my new JVC RC838,Which I bought on ebay... Joe (Blu_fuz) is wonderful to work with. and as you can see from the videos, he makes a quality product. Its So nice to deal with someone who can appreciate how much we cherish our indidual boomboxes and has the skill of a true craftsman to make something so perfect that we're proud to use them together....

I happen to be disabled and am on crutches, so I requested a small design modification to suit my particular situation and like the craftman he is, he took it as a challenge and is doing what he can to fill my need......How can you not be eternally grateful for that kind of wonderful humanity.

Much thanks my friend and thank you for your Artistic skill and fine Craftsmanship....For anyone, who has any question or doubts, I recommend his products wholeheartedly..... We all love our boxes............ dont you think yours deserves that special something extra that superb craftmanship brings?

Can you do a long smooth strap that's adjustable so to reach around the whole box and take off tension from a crappy handle? How much would that cost? Peace

Yeah, I can make 2 straps with D rings on each end so you can 'sinch' the straps around an entire boombox and then hook a universal strap up to those D rings. I really need to know what box they are going on so I don't make them way too short or way too long. Price, only $15 for the 2 straps 1.5" wide with two D rings on each end of each strap.
