it was a demo to show a REAL full size mid ( the 770 )
and the REAL mini ( sansui ) -- with the "sub-mid " in between

The 8989 is just a regular mid-size IMO.........OK it might be a tiny bit smaller than a 9191 (doubt it), but it's still midsize
