Hi guys I friend gave me a fisher ph480 in mint condition cassette works radio works but, volume is very low. Any idea? Thank you all!

My guess would be a dirty function selector or even a dirty record bar. I would try to record something and see how the recording sounds playing it on a known good working box.

Radio and auxiliary is also low.

flood all the switches maybe more than once working them but leave it dry for at least 10 hrs
