Fisher PH 490

Congrats Eddy, I had the 490 once sold it I regret it, But made up for it when I bought the 460 & 480 with white speakers from a valuable member, Also bought the 480 with black speakers from another valuable member, And too top it off I had to get the 492, Is just like your 490 but with chrome dust speakers, So if u need another Fisher get the 480 is the one with the most bass.

These Fisher boxes don't turn up very often up here. Am i right that the PH 492 was an update from the 490 ?
The 492 looks a bit better but the 490 has to do.......
I really like the PH 480 but i didn't see it for sale up here. I guess it was an US market model ?

i meant it was the 480 that i sent you -
-- but - guessing those 2 models -plus the 492 -
are the identical huge deep size

Yup , only the woofers and the tapedeck door seem to be different.
Maybe some internal stuff too
