Not really bought much recently as I've been busy with my jukebox and I'm at a stage with my collecting where I'm getting pickier and pickier lol. Anyway, I couldn't resist this rare Crown as it's a really beauty. I have the 850 and the 950 and they're two great boxes. Hadn't seen a 945 come up in a long long time so I bagged it.

Arrived quickly and well packed, just filthy as hell as usual. So it got the usual full strip down, scrub and polish. It came out really well. Love it :-)

Yes!!
Those are the best. The ones with that protective layer of filth, that turns other people away.
Then Pow! A badass beauty!

YE GODS - your bath shrunk!!! :w00t:

More seriously, it's probably a money saving experience for you to find a decent BB that'll scrub up well, a grotty box will keep the price down.

Another triumph for Northerner.

Oh my goodness, I'm seeing more Crowns I haven't seen before pop up here lately and they're all beautiful. You find this beauty locally or on the bay?

Great looker man, looks brand new in the pics.

Thanks fellas.

It was an eBay BIN, no line in, didn't need rebelting as all good, soaked it a recycling bin as it's deeper than the sink.

It's now on kitchen duty so will be used every day :-)

Ain't no clean up like a Northerner clean up. Soaked it whilst walking the whippets eh?

Joking aside thats a lovely box, don't see these often and they are easy to work on so fantastic score

I had one of these turn up from Italy a few years ago and it was a complete wreck! Ended up parting everything out. I'm sending the deck out to Nick Eccles this week. There's only a bit of chrome and the battery cover left.

Saw another version of the Crown 945 on Facebook but in silver and blue.

Not my pic by the way

Not seen that version...I think I'd like the darker colour but with the lovely blue vu's from this one :-)
