I get goosebumps when the bassline thumps, that's one sweet sounding box, looks minty!

What sort of camera did you use to make the vid? Whenever I post vids of my boxes, the bass is lost somewhere between making the recording and uploading to the forum, yet the same device (the camera on my HOX) is brilliant for recording decent bass in live performances. Clearly I need whatever it is you have  to make accurate vids of my hard hitters like JVC's best ever, as seen over there:

Lav..... You and Michiel drive me mad with 8614 thing... he has something like 8 of them!

I had one as a kid and was teased and traumatized in the 80s!

what's your second favorite box?

Lol ok Rudi, hard to pick a second fave but It would probs be a close call between the Pioneer sk909L or the sanyo mx920. Having owned both and sorry I ever got rid of either. Don't know what it is with the 8614 it just ticks all the boxes for me

I read somewhere you had the 909. Now that's a box with some cred! How did that sound?
the sound was amazing on the 909, it only has small woofs but they kick hard. Real nice highs and plenty of bass, and built like a tank. Has the lovely weighted tuning dial too, pure pioneer quality. I picked mine up from a bootsale for a tenner and it was mint. Ended up selling it cheap and a year or so later I seen one sell on the bay for about £1,300....You can imagine how i felt :-D
