Wow, that Toshiba is in amazing condition. You are right about it being a very rare bird. I can only image how difficult it would be to keep that shiny black finish in tip top condition over the years.

How does it sound on batteries?

Went to an estate sale TODAY. Bought all this for $8.
Love the vintage 1960's and 1970's oil cans !

Man those vintage oil can are cool. Especially the Gulf and Kendall...you really don't see those brands anymore.

Not many sales this weekend.. but I did buy a 2 things.

1. Vintage 1980's Robie the robot banker paid $1.75.
Sold by Radio shack. Works as it should.

2. 1980 Realistic SCR-2 Boombox. Works good buy needs new antenna and counter repaired.. probably needs belts as well but cassette works suprisingly. Paid $5.00

Not many sales this weekend, but did manage to find a few things for cheap:

Paid $1 each record. All are prestine, look hardly played.
Paid $0.25 for the matchbox pipe truck
Paid $1 for the TDK blank Cassettes
Paid $0.25 for the Fuji blank cassette
Paid $1 for the CD Single
