Anyone else notice? now Ebay UK have no final selling fees, the secondhand price for Boomboxes and walkman has dropped?
I think there is just more private sellers wishing to list, creating more competition.
Good news if your buying but bad news for sellers even worse news for business listings as i believe these are still subject to commission fees!!

They’ve been dropping for a while. Not surprising really given the state of the world these days. But markets go up and down, might pick up again, might not. But my collection is in profit; I’ve made more money than I’ve spent and still have plenty of awesome boomboxes so I’m not bothered if the market flatlines, it’s not my pension plan lol

No final sales fees? I'll have to see if ebay US is considering that.

I was watching a JVC M70 on ebay last week, and it sold for only $260 USD. I was quite shocked.

They trailed this in Germany earlier in the year and now it's here so maybe.

I think it's in response to a service which is popular in Europe called Vinted, which now allows the sale of electronics, think they were eating ebays lunch as the seller is charged no service fees.
