i mean, little to no rain, but wet pavement, or little to no snow of course.

but rainy or snowy conditions.

i almost do, and sometimes did.

if i had a spare 3rd box, i would take it.

i would call it the weather box.

but since my hitachi is NM, and the sanwa is mint,

i dont do that very often but i have done...

:-P

boombox sound is too amazing!!!

we should make a totem boombox god !!

with all respect to all Gods of course!

Snow or rain, big no.

Water and paper speakers don't mix. :grim:

If I am washing the truck, I will put a T-shirt over the box to protect from over spray. :smooch:

Not a chance. :nonono:

Like analogboi said there are parts of boomboxes that don't like water at all and may reward you with an ugly or broken boomer for trying.

Only back in the 80's did I do that, but not when there was substantial rain or snowfall. :nonono:

However, when the rain or snow stopped, I'd be back out on the streets of my neighborhood with the volume on "6".

As for the here and now, my box carrying days are basically over.

Bringing it outside to snap a few pics and carrying it all throughout the neighborhood are two different things...

Not sure if I want that kind of attention these days - especially on foot.

 During a snow storm and after a snow storm are two different things also... :-P

Nice video, AK74! Looks like the weather's the same in Germany as it is in Philly.

We had some snow yesterday and I think we're gonna get hit again tonight! :-O

We've already had record snowfall this year! :annoyed:

I've been following that 909 since it listed, seems a tad high though. :hmmm:

But I have too ;-) Out of my price range for a project box - I have bought some killer boxes for about the same money or less. You would have to tell me that box sounds like Jesus whispering in my ear! :angelic: :-)

Eldo, I'd have to agree - when people get shot over shoes, I'm sure they would like to have a rockin box while flossin the cool treads!

:agree: I used to go to school with a younger kid who got killed for his Jordans back around 1990... He was a real cool dude too.

Less severe, but back in the summer of 1987, these 2 older cats jumped out a car while I was walking around with my Lasonic (20-seconds away from my house) and tried to jack me for my box. They didn't try to beat me up but tussled with me for it. They gave up and hopped back in their car when they figured I wasn't gonna let it go. Afterwards, I realized that they managed to pull half the handle out of the case, but I put back in when I got home... Still, that didn't stop me from walking around alone with my box, but it made me much more cautious.

Nowadays, cats don't even do all that... If they want what's yours, they'd just walk up on you, pop you, take that and walk off. :-/

Man that's just messed up but unfortunately it's been proven true more than a few times.
