It’s actually playing radio. No sound from it however. The last one of these I bought played well out the box. This one..... well I might have bitten off more than I can chew. Haven’t had one as grubby as this for a long time.

Just as grubby on the inside. Not smelly however. I hate it when they smell bad. I’ve got several of these AJ-500’s, they open up like a sandwich in three parts.
Not sure why no sound is coming out. Checked and sprayed the normal things. Hopefully something simple. The meters are good and strong.

Done the switches and record bar. Also the speaker connector. Wonder if an amp chip has blown.

Cleaned the headphone jack? If the push button switches are not pushed in for the right function, it will be all silent. I hope those buttons also had good cleaning! I ran to this issue once. Let me see....
