Did you get boxes on your wish list in 2014? What for 2015?

I got some of the mini's I was after as well as a couple of Sanyo MX-720s. I found a Kasuga and a JVC 550 in the wild. Got all my Aiwa's fully working. 880,770,660,600 &R10.

I hope to trade with a fellow member for my first Pioneer in the New Year. What about you guys?

Hey Rudey, I was looking at your pictures on the "Random Pics" thread, you definately had a good year huh.

I got some good boxes this year, the M70 being the only one from my wish list but I got a couple of nice Sanyo minis, recently my Sony CF-77 and my Aiwa TPR-990. I didn't have a great time with finds in the wild as they seemed to dry up a little and I also had a couple of complete waste of moneys on epay so I'm trying to avoid that. I have found my best buys have been from members so will try to trade/buy more in 2015.

So 2015 I will be trying to get some big hitters, obviously I would love an M90 and a C100 but realistically I will be aiming for a MX-920 and a GF777. Those will be the two I would love to end 2015 owning. The MX-920 is my personal grail so I have to own one one day.

Looking around now though, reflecting, I have some great boxes and several I really couldnt be without and I'm thankfull for that. Merry christmas and a happy new year Rudey and the same to all boombox brothers.

You also got 9998 and a Sharp 9696? I hear what you mean by Ebay. I just got stitched up by an Italian eBayer after saying I would never buy from there again. The people can't pack for ****!
However if your a UK collector you have to go on Ebay international now and then to get something exotic or else there is nothing but a sea of mediocre Sharp's and egg boxes!

2014 was not a great year for me, having said this I was not really on a hunting mission. The boxes I got in 2014 are as follows.....Toshiba rt 9510, nice condition and good price. Toshiba rt 8560, decent condition and pretty cheap. And a small Philips D8134 for the kitchen, bought for peanuts. I craved another Crown sz5100 or Unisef sz5000 and done a trade with Max for my tosh 9510. I am not as big into the hunt as I used to be so if anything crops up it's a bonus for me.

I have to many on my wish list for 2015, but low cash issues seem to plague me so I won't hold my breath. I think a JVC M70 is probably at the top of my list so I better get saving haha.....All the best for 2015 Rudey and have a good Crimbo

Not much new in 2014, just getting ones I already have working. Did get a Montgomery Wards Airline boomer, though. When all was said and done, more went out than came in.

In 2015, more of the same, a holding pattern coupled with repairs to boxes I already own. That's like getting a new one every time!

Got another silver 550 with manual and door sticker,
an RX-5700,
a Conion TC-999,
a golden C-126,
a champagne Sanyo M7880,
a nice Lasonic 931 (1st edition),
a GF-9696,
an Aiwa CS-880 (finally!),
and a blue Conion City Boy (just 2 days ago)

But there is one more box to come which definitely tops all of the above ones. I already have it with me and will reveal it before next week Stay tuned!

Nope...I saw it in person and it is a nice box but the price got too high for me.

Last box I got was in 2012. Toshiba s90. All I wanted for Christmas was a working C100...didn't get it of course.

There have been SOOOOOO many C-100's on e-Bay this year ...it's crazy. Maybe you should buy that Korean version that's just waiting to be bought and looking for a good home
