Well just the other day I was at Radio Shack browsing around and decided to buy some D Batteries for 1 of my boomers. The D were at $4.49 per pack 2 pk. I grabbed 5 packs as both my boomers use 10 D's.As I go to pay I noticed on the counter a large pack of D's I asked the salesman .How much are those he says $4.99 per pack 8 to a pack.
.I buy 3 packs to take care of both my boomers the guy gave the impression they were a clearance item.I bought the 3 packs on the counter and left this was on Monday (Memorial day) Sunday I go to store again and notice 2 more packs on the counter I ask him to price check and he says they're $4.99 . I grab the 2 packs he has available bringing my total to 5 packs 40 total 2 sets of 10 for my boomers. My questions is why bring out 2-3 packs at a time and place them on the counter hidden between the register and all the other junk they put on there.Today I headed back and saw 2 more packs asked what the price was and he said $10.99 the sale ended yesterday.Sale I thought they were clearance item No they were on sale till yesterday.
Well all in all $10.99 is still a good price but I was spoiled with the $4.99.
Ps These Radio Shack Batteries do last and are still going strong after all day out Memorial day with my Ipod Nano connected
