I've forgot to mention that for some reason superglue didn't wan't to bond back of pcb and this plastic sheet. It was as if both sides were greasy, despite the oposite (carefully cleaned). So I've used another type of glue that is applied on both sides, and than pressed together. It remains elastic unlike superglue, and I think that is what made the difference.

Just to warn everybody about sliding anything between tape door frame and control panel - make sure no to push anything too thick.
I'll do thrid, and hopefully final version, that has not just subtle light but also represents no stress and danger for aged plastic parts on door assembly. Will need some time, since I've just started recovering from recent illness.
