Car radio please I'm running class D amp running 150 watts per channel 1 battery I'm running 4. I'll be jammin all day and night. :thumbsup:

not all 6.5 are weak just look at these . a 6.5 in the right size box will kick some ass..

ok so the jr boombox had some issues this weekend. I got all 4 in and brad nailed it together to see what it would sound like. ( see if it had enough air space) Sounded great for 20 mins till it blew the back off :w00t: :thumbsup: so I had to screw it together all the way around. Now working on the inside layout. I think i can hide all of the electronics inside and just have a IR located on the front (hidden of course) that way someone can just come and turn down the boombox!! :nonono:
Got the size down to reasonable 30" long 8" deep 16" tall so pretty close to my lasonic 931. weight to be determine. Did slim the batteries down to 2 12v 8a.
I'll have to see what the life cycle is on it. I would like to get at least 6-8hrs out of it.

JVC Floyd true on not all 6.5s but I do think the car radio would be way under powered for JL audios. :hmmm:

Nice work, this project has come along way! Looks great, some chrome would be cool, but like the old Car saying goes, "If it don't go Chrome It"

Ok guys finally got back to it here are a few picks. Just got the hndle done this week.
The box is pure fiberglass except the 1/2" x 1" frame. still debating on electronics. Still think i'm going stealth. Post more as I get closer. Need a lot of body work. So far pretty light till I put in the 4 8" and the 2 12v batteries posting.php?mode=edit&f=47&p=153066#
