When I came up with the idea, my thoughts were wandering on other things but they gently prompted me.

I remember it oh so well...............

It was dark, very dark and the sun had gone down so long ago. In the still of the night, the only sounds were that of my whispering breath accompanied by the gentle beating of my heart within the hot-pink silken blouse only worn on those....well, 'special' occasions.

Curves, it was all about the curves. The object of my thoughts had to be accommodated within the curves - but, would one of such a size actually fit with all that soft, gentle padding caressing it? There was only one way to find out. I stole a glance at it and my heart began to race at the images I beheld - my heartbeat increased, could I honestly pull this off? The siz...........................

 NO-NO-NO! I can't do this, it's only a bit of padding in a battery compartment so I'll let the (above) images explain it all instead!

*mops brow*

There are many applications for double-sided adhesive tape therefore an abundance of outlets from which to purchase There are different widths, lengths and gauges/thicknesses for a variety of applications.

For instance:
Think about a woman's cleavage (just for a change, eh?!!!). Then think what *MOST OF YOU* have probably thought at some point in your lives: "How does that nice young Lady's blouse/dress/whatever not fall forward and reveal more than it's supposed to?"
Answer: Double-sided tape. Seriously, that's all there is to it!

Or there's this:
Stix2 16m x 12mm DOUBLE SIDED ULTRA STICKY CLEAR TAPE

Or even this to consider:
DOUBLE SIDED ULTRA STICKY CLEAR CRAFT SHEETS 105mmx152mm EMBOSSING EMBELISHMENT

With the thinner tapes you can even apply dry rub-on foils for decorative details and apply Letraset (carefully!) type products onto them. Imagine that in between two thin pieces of acrylic/Perspex for making, say, a new cassette door or badge plate. Just let your imagination run wild, chaps.

Where can I find that fine double-sided mounting tape? It's also used widely to hold the metal shields etc. The one by 3M sold in most places on white non-transparent base is quite thick. I'm talking about the clear one like classic scotch tape but having adhesive on both sides.
See my post above for that info and also look at this pic showing two sizes on rolls (it's also available in sheets), it may also help you recognise what to look for although the pics do not give too much away. I usually buy mine from a thrift type shop or craft shop but they're usually incredibly cheap, a roll can be many meters long so ought to last. It may not be good value to buy a whole roll for one BB so try asking a female friend/associate for just enough to do the job.

That may be a cheaper route for the double sided tape. I bought mine at a plastic shop, but I've also bought some at an autoparts store as its used to hold on side trim on some autos. Its real industrial stuff, nice as well to hold on boombox trim pieces!

That's pretty similar to the "Snot" tape I was talking about. Very cool.

Thanks both sellers are UK-based I wonder why they don't sell them in the US? 3M US monopolist does not make it?
