Your opinion is ALL good here! I have been doing sound comparo's with all of my boxes just to see where they stand, and I never really post my results.

I actually own a JVC M70JW...that obliviates all 5 of my mint M90's!

I think after all these years, there has to be a fair variation in the internal condition of various examples of the same model. The general level of care, frequency of use, storage temperates, humidity etc all must have some influence 30+ years down the track.

Your M70JW must be a beast!!

The 126 only has 7 watt woofers. The 100 has 22. None the less they both sound good in they're own right. Open that 126 up and you'll see. I love all my CONION's and am currently trying to find a 999 to complete my set. (I'll trade a Big Ben for one if anybody has one!!)

You can make any comparison you want but people might disagree with you. Sound is a very subjective issue and can be very easily clouded by the products age and internal condition, most boxes are pushing close to or over 30 years old now and the electrolytic caps are well past their lifespan. I very rarely compare sound due to this variable aspect of condition

What's the wattage say on your woofers in the 999?

I find the C-126 & TC-999 are basically equal in sound...the 999 is much nicer looking to me.

Thank You. I wasn't sure the added Puny tweeters on the TC999 made much a difference in sound

1 of my C-126's sounds stronger than my other ones, but not enough for it to stand out that much more than the others...they 126 & 999 are a must have in a collection!

Yes, 8 tabs hold them on.. you could actually put them on a TC999 if you wanted since the boxes are the same..
Just the C126 has painted speaker trims instead of chrome/gold plating..

I dig the design ques of the lower deck with the simulated CD player look. All the radio's that have that design feature always catch my eye....I really like that for some reason!
