Another VZ2000 back from the other side...

I have been working on the two I brought home from Japan. I agree, they aren't to bad to tear down, especially with the step by step PDF file in the VZ2000 section of this site. The radio is SO big that it's actually easier to get to things.

But, sadly, both mine have some sort of turn table issue. I am still working that out. I also need to get the switches made.

They are MONSTERS though....Nothing like them. I really love them. All the goodie features that Sharp could pack into them.

LED VU's, Cassette Search, Loudness, Turntable to Tape recording. I just with they had two antenna's :-/

And your right, there just aren't as many in the states and the prices are :-O

Seems the black speaker ones are even more rare

Great work Bill

Thanks Chris, wait til you get turntable sorted out. It's so awesome to play albums on!!! So what are issues with the turntables? Maybe we can help :-)

One thing I do remember is that the black version is the one I saw for sale at the furniture store in Chicago back in the day!!!

I'm very happy I picked this up and as I have said, every collector needs one ;-)

I posted my issue in the VZ section here: http://www.boomboxery.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=14901

I am taking it to the Meet on Friday in hopes that Norm can have a look at it :-/

I'm ready to spin some vinyl man!

Let me tell ya Chris it's totally awesome once you get her going. I posted in your other post that belt may still be to tight. Try stretching it a bit :-)
