And God knows where it comes from but ill tell you this

This is without a doubt one of my favorties and I hope mine turns out as nice as this one when i get to it. The touch sensitive knob which allows the LED's to go from tuner signal back to level meters just seems to be ahead of its time for this. I was shocked when I realized it had this functionality. Great job on this one!!!!

hey hemiguy,
I know I am a little late, but how much work did it take to clean it?
I mean what you did, for how long and what kind of cleaner/tools you used..
Thanks,
Gregor

No problem.
I usually spend a good part of 5 to 6 hours total on something like this.
Mild dish soap on the body, soft tooth brush to get into the little nooks.
compressed air to blow all the dust from inside.
Novus 3 step Plastic polish on all the transparent parts.
Deoxit tuner cleaner and lube for the switches and knobs.
Cleaner wax on the chrome bits and pieces to give an exceptional shine.
Satin black paint on the speaker grilles after a sanding with 800 to 1000 grit sandpaper.

Ahh, thanks alot.
I needed the hint for sth. like that Novus polish - already ordered!
By cleaner wax you mean the product actually called "cleaner wax" or anything general like that?
Products over here differ from american products, so sorry if I got something wrong + for my bad English.
Thx again,
Gregor

Hi Bashngu,

Not quite following you here. How do you do this? I want to try on mine tonight.

Thanks,

This feature only works when it is plugged in.
and if it doesnt work try flipping the plug polarity .
When you touch the tuning knob the top row leds will then function to indicate tuning strength.
Pretty kool
