Mr. Ira, I prefer soggy beer and warm chips (Not cow dung though)...
So that means we'll be having Caesar Salad at Franks I guess.... too bad... I make it from scratch... original Italian recipe and all... you sure are snobs at the east coast! ;-)

I'm down with doing something like this at Frank's. I'm long overdue for a visit there anyway. :-D

So far, December 18th looks like it should work for me.

So what's the final verdict on Ramon & Ira??? Are you two going be there or not.... I do hope you can make it, sounds like a fun cookout.

Just thinkin' out loud at this point, but I'd likely be bringing my M90, SK-71, TPR-950 and Ed's 9292. Maybe the M70 if nobody else is.

Please accept my regrets for the delay in chiming in, we have been away and out of touch and have been enjoying our weekend with Fran and Tara (Hemi & Mrs. Hemi) but I think Dec 18th is perfect and Betty and I look forward to seeing you all in Naples......

I did get your PM Alex, so I apologize for not responding sooner.

Ira bring a trade for the SONY CFS-7...

UE and Betty

I hope you all don't mind me asking this, especially since that gathering is too far away for me.

What is with the 'Caesar Salad and braided egg bread sprinkled with poppy seeds' ?

Venezuela is known for its cuisine. Bring some high quality steak and beer, and some party deserts or something. or make empanadas or something. You are traveling thousands of miles, so if you are bringing food, make it rock!.

Ok Im done.

I have been advised by Betty that we have tickets already purchased for the Christmas Cirque du soleil here in Tampa.

Another date maybe or I must send our regrets.

I'm cool with Jan 3rd, too... I think that might be easier/better than Dec 18th as many people tend to doing that "last minute" shopping for Christmas that weekend before...

I will be working on Monday

OOOPS!!! Thanks for prompting the double-check, Frank...

I didn't read it through properly. I am also working on Jan 3rd... If I were to take a day off for this get together, I would want it to be in this calendar year as I still have some unused time off that I will lose otherwise...

Best options from my perspective are:

  • [*:1ec7r99h]Saturday, Dec. 18th (Last shopping weekend before Christmas, and Ed can't make it)
    [*:1ec7r99h]Sunday, Dec. 19th ????? (are Sunday's not an option?)

[*:1ec7r99h]Saturday, Jan 1st (Kinda tough to plan for that with NYE going on the night before. Might be a tough sell to my wife)
[*:1ec7r99h]Sunday, Jan 2nd (Gives a day for the NYE hangover to dissipate.)

Well if it's a Christmas "Mini-Mini-Meet" then the 18th or 19th sounds much better don't it? Hehehehehe...

I think I'll be spending NYE at Disney, don't really know for 100% sure but I think my brother is doing the reservation, etc... if so I think the 2nd or 3rd maybe is tight for me.

I vote more towards the 18th or 19th... of December that is... Ho-Ho-Ho!!!!! :santa:
