Hey, I wasn't trying to make you unhappy with your purchase. You did GOOD! The red QT is a real cutie! Besides, you knew about the missing cover when you bought it. Lots of my boomboxes are missing things... like balls on the tips of antennas. And tape decks. And the ability to power up. At least give this V40 a loving home for a little while, and you might just find yourself growing attached to it. I mean, how would you like to be rejected just because someone told you to "put a lid on it" and you didn't have a lid to put on??

and a woodie cover can be done with veneer that will make those turns
